This organic and biodynamic winery is situated in the south east of Sicily in Val di Noto in the Buonivini and Barone districts of the DOC Eloro and Noto. The vineyards are set on a low hill at an altitude that varies from 30 to 67 metres above sea level and are exposed to different climates, making the most of the sun and the dominant winds. The region experiences a dry heat with temperatures averaging the highest on the island. The Nero D’Avola is one of Italy’s most important indigenous varieties and is compared to New World Shiraz.
